Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 June 2026
1. Who we are
Strata Money is a service operated by Strata Money Limited, a company registered in England & Wales with company number 17290666, whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. You can contact us at hello@stratamoney.co.uk; legal and privacy matters: legal@stratamoney.co.uk.
2. What the service is
Strata Money is a personal-finance illustration and calculation tool. It models how UK salary, pension, tax, child benefit, ISA, student-loan and similar decisions interact, based on figures you enter and our understanding of the rules for the 2026/27 tax year.
Outputs are guidance and illustration only. They are not personalised financial, tax, investment or legal advice and are not a recommendation to take or refrain from any course of action.
3. Not regulated financial advice
Strata Money Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Nothing on the site or in the tool constitutes a financial promotion within the meaning of section 21 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. For regulated financial advice you should consult an FCA-authorised adviser.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or scrape the service.
- Do not rely on outputs as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
6. Subscription, renewal, cancellation and refunds
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance at the plan you select (currently £7.99 per month or £39.99 per year) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the same price and interval, using your saved payment method, until you cancel. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial; if you cancel during the trial you are not charged.
You can cancel at any time in one click from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until that date. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time in a period you have already paid for, except where required by law.
UK 14-day right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). If you are a consumer in the UK, you normally have the right to cancel a distance contract for a paid subscription within 14 days of entering into it and receive a refund of amounts paid for that initial period. Because Strata Money is a digital service that we make available for you to use immediately on subscribing, by starting to use the paid service within the 14-day period you expressly request that supply begin immediately and acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel and to a refund once the service has been fully performed, and that any refund for the initial period may be reduced in proportion to the service already supplied. This does not affect your rights in relation to auto-renewals (which you can stop at any time by cancelling), your statutory rights if the service is not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or any other rights that cannot be excluded by law.
To exercise the 14-day right, or for any refund query, email hello@stratamoney.co.uk from the address on your account within the 14-day period.
7. Intellectual property
All content, code, design and calculations in Strata Money are owned by Strata Money Limited or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own personal financial planning. You may not resell, redistribute or relicense the service or its outputs.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strata Money Limited is not liable for any financial loss, lost profits, lost savings, tax liability or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or reliance on its outputs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
9. Changes to the service and these terms
We may update the service and these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in UK tax rules or in our features. Material changes will be notified via the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
